Girls Day Out
So after 2 months of no GDO, due to trips to Georgia and New Mexico, we finally got back on track Saturday. Me and my mom drove to Lar's apartment and then we went to the Salt Lake Temple. We ate lunch at P.F. Changs and decided to take Jacob our leftovers. With the exception of a few forgetful moments, that caused us to drive around a bit (I love you MOM!), it was really fun and so nice to be able to spend time with my sister and mom. I have to say that I am so grateful to have a wonderful husband, who I can leave the kids with all day and know that he is going to take them to the park, and play with them, and just have a great time. He is so good to me and the kids! Thanks everybody for a great day and get ready for next month when it is my turn to plan the activity!

Isn't it so great that we can trust our husbands and not even have to call and check on them while we're gone cause they're probably doing a better job (and the kids are having more fun) than if we were home. It's so foreign to me when other mother's say "Oh, I can't leave until I get the baby to sleep," or "my husband never changes diapers," etc. I'm so grateful that Scott is a better parent than me. :)
I love the picture of Savannah in Ry's underwear. So cute. I made the apple german pancake's and they were so good. I don't even think I messed up anything on the recipe. Jar just lost his first two teeth also.
Happy Birthday to Cecelia! It looks like it was a fun day. Mare, the cake was beautiful.
I love your mom, too. She reared a couple of wonderful daughters that we(your mother and I) get to share!!!
