Snow Day

We have had so much snow! Finally, we had a sunny day, so we went out to play in it. Savannah was so bundled up that as soon as I put her down she went face first into the snow. She didn't mind though because she was right in it and could just open her mouth and eat it. The kids love to eat snow! Savannah just put her head down in the snow and got a mouthful and then came up and then went down for more. I tried to catch the humor of it on camera, but I don't know how successful I was.

Mary Ann,

Your kids are so stinkin' cute! Thanks for commenting on my blog. You are so sweet! I love you, too and am so glad we've reconnected. Let's get together. We've had so much phlegm happening here. I haven't felt like infecting anyone, so I'll let you know when the faucets that are our noses stop dripping. ;)

I saw this recipe that Paula Dean made with snow. She got a big bowl of snow (yes I said snow) and mix it with a can of sweet condensed milk, and add a little vanilla and mix. Snow ice cream, and it is supposed to be so yummy! Who knew?

I'm so jealous that you have real snow. Our "snow" was more like a slushy. Oh well it was still fun. The kids are getting so big. They will probably be graduating high school before we see ya'll again.

How fun is that! It looked like the perfect day! I am glad that they get to play in that fun white stuff. Owen loves eating snow, but Will doesn't like it much. When he went down face first he didn't stop howling for at least 5 minutes!

By the way, the chicken with mango salsa and edamame was fantastic. I will definitely make it again. You were right the sauce on the chicken was delicious. We all loved the coconut rice too. Becky and Frank raved about it too.

That look like SO much fun!!! I am missing snow so much this season and I've heard that there is tons of it this year. Do you guys miss Georgia or are you loving Utah?

We like Utah, but the winter is long and cold. I would die if I could see a green tree or something. It is nice being close to my family but we miss Georgia alot. I guess it is what you get used to?
