Do you Remember me Tag

I have seen this on a bunch of blogs lately, so I am trying it out here. Be nice, please!

Do you remember when?

1. Add a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends, write about a post that is most memorable.

2. Next, post these instructions on your blog and see how many people have a fun memory of you. It's pretty fun to see the responses.

3. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

I remember when you got married and my mom and I went to your reception at the Continuing Education Center, and I thought how beautiful and happy you looked and how I hoped one day I could be so happily married!

I remember (among many other wonderful memories) when you and I went to "Time Out for Women" in Nashville, TN together. We had a noisy room near "Printer's Alley". You were the spokesperson for you and me. After a few phone calls to the desk, to no avail, and getting to know the person in charge by his first name, we gave up on trying to get another room..and spent a long time laughing and laughing!
I also remember the morning after you, Matt, Laura, and Ryan Hughes went out dancing soon after you met. We had y'all demonstrate what you learned doing the salsa. It was so fun.
I will have a good afternoon thinking about all the good times we've had since you joined our family!

i mostly remember in the beginning of our friendship long walks (fresh air good for the kids and exercise good for us!) and talking about many subjects, $1 movie nights, dinners, sharing books, more talking and walking, encouraging each other. I esp. remember when you and Matt went out of town for anniversary trip and you let me borrow your car all weekend b/c Danny and I only had one, I thought how selfless and Christlike that was. I always appreciated your courage, strength in staying true to gospel principles. I've loved that I've had a strong friend in the gospel that feels like another member of the family:)

I have many but two that I still think about often. First one was the whole Gordy from Star Trek (putting that letter from your bed on my eyes and the banana clip thing) we laughed so hard until baby Andrew was freaking out. Then I remember a night when we had a dance party in our underwear in your room. I think we were trying to dance as crazy and dumb as possible. I think maybe some running around outside might have happened. Do you remember any of this?

Mary Ann, I remember your wedding day. Your reception was absolutely beautiful and the two of you were positively radiant! It was such a happy, blissful day and you were a gracious bride. Everyone at your reception could see how happy you were and felt so warmly welcomed in the process.

I remember when Jonah was little and had a Halloween costume that was a dinosaur....maybe...and he was so excited and happy that his mom had that costume for him. I remember thinking that I wanted to be the type of mom that would bring that much joy over simple small things to my child. You are a great mom and I have always admired you!

I remember all those cross country and track practices in the rain, cold, snow, heat, anything. I remember being the manager of the girls' basketball team, and watching you and Heidi and the other girls play basketball all the time. That was really fun.

I remember when we finished watching Beaches and you just cried and cried. Not many people get to see the super tender and sensitive side of you, but it is so there and so present in everything you do. You care so deeply about people. Everyone on the planet is significant to you. Your compassion for others is boundless. I love you!
