Reflecting

My sister-in-law, Kim, lost her father unexpectedly last week. Over the past few days, I have been pondering and reflecting about the fragility of life and the frequent, unexpected turns our lives take. I mourn with her and her family and hope they can find comfort at this difficult time. At times like these, I am at a loss for words. My prayers and thoughts go out to all affected by the loss of a father, husband, grandfather, friend and neighbor. May our Savior, give us the comfort and relief that we need and humbly ask for.

What a wonderful blessing it is to have the gospel in our lives and the knowledge to know that families are forever.

Thank you so much Mare. I know I have alot of people praying for me and it is a great comfort. It still doesnt seem real. I still look for him to come home. He was such a wonderful father and so much of him is in me. I will miss him every waking day.

I'm so sorry. I hope their family can get through this difficult time. Life is so short, we just never know when we'll lose someone we love.
