They are both at an age where they really like each other and will take the time to let the other one see and participate in what they are doing.
Savannah has a special way of saying Ryanne's name and is always looking for her when she wakes up in the morning or from naps.
It also made me think about my own sisters. I feel so lucky to have Audrey and Laura Dawn as my sisters. I have so many wonderful memories from my childhood and one or both of them are included in almost every one of those memories. Audrey was (and still is) so good at everything that she did, a great peacemaker, and was always including me in what she was doing, even when she was in high school and I was younger than her. She always let me hang out with her friends and never treating me badly. Laura Dawn was always so nice to me (still is), even when I was embarassing her or trying to beat her up. She always listened and played with me and let me tell her what to do. She probably feels like I used her as a slave because I was always asking her to fo things for me.
I am thankful for the joy and friendship that my sisters have brought into my life. It is so fun now to be friends with them and to enjoy our relationship as grown sisters! I love you both!

I love you Mare! Those photos of Ry and Savannah made me think of our photos of Owen and Will. They never end up in such a nice pose though. They usually end up in a heap on top of each other. I so enjoy blogging as a way of keeping close to you while we live far apart. What I love about you: You are the most tender and giving person I know. What I love about Lar: Innocence, and pure goodness. We are lucky sisters!
Aud- I just left the ones out where they were balled up on top of each other and chose the sweet ones. It reminded me of pictures I have seen of Will and Owen too!
I love that they are hanging out in the laundry basket, my kids love to do that too. Ethan even pretends it's his house sometimes.
How sweet!! I am so glad my girls will have sisters b/c there's nothing like a sisterly bond! (oh, and i don't think it ever really turned syruppy? but it was almost all gone boiled out of the pan, so i went ahead and used it. it still turned out fine!)
