Saturday-it's just like every other day

And I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just that Matt has to work every Saturday morning until about 1 pm, so we end up hanging around, seeing what fun we can have. We had a giant diaper box that was being used as a baby/stuffed animal bed, and somehow it was ripped apart, so we turned it into a giant craft page. Big enough for everyone to lay on the floor and participate without getting frustrated.
There is something about baking that really relaxes me. I find myself making an excuse to bake almost every day and it is fun to involve the kids. We made Homemade Animal Crackers and the kids had a blast mixing the ingredients, wearing their aprons, cutting out the crackers, and eating them, of course!

I really think I want to be your kid. That looks like so much fun. I am definitely going to have to try those lemon cupcakes, I can't keep up with all the good food you make. I would like to try it all.

We have those same Home Depot aprons. I bet your kids get more use out of them than we do. :)
