So after the hysteria that ensued on our first attempt to get a family picture for a Christmas card, we decided that none of the pictures would work. They were too blurry, or too crazy, and there wasn't a single one in which we all looked at least ok. Then Matt and I decided that we would just take a picture of the kids because after looking at a thousand unflattering pictures of yourself, you just decide that it might be best to use the cute members of your family (I think Matt is super cute, but he didn't like the pics of himself)
So, plan B was- take a picture of the kids after church on sunday, when the kids are clean, cute and dressed up.
Hmmm...
everything seemed to be going according to plan, until I looked at Jonah in church and he looked as pale as a ghost and was practically falling asleep, just sitting there. When we got home, he was lying on the porch, talking about throwing up. Kinda ruined the plan.
He went straight to bed and somehow, everyone else that was going to take a nap, ended up in his bed too. I know what you are thinking, probably not a great idea to have the entire family in the same bed as the sick person, but it happened.
Once everyone was in place, Matt said to get the camera and I started taking pictures.
So, maybe we will use one of these? (Even better that I am not in these ones lol)
It might end up being a Happy New Year card at this point. But, nonetheless, never fear, we might get one out someday.
I love my family by the way. So, so much. They are the cutest, most fun, creative, interesting people that I know.

Those are all so totally cute.
I totally had to laugh at the last few posts! Last year my husband came home from Iraq right in time for the Christmas season and we decided it would be good to take a family picture to send to everyone. 74 shots later we got it. You family is so cute and I like the silly faces pictures. That's really what people want to see anyway- that you guys can have fun together!
I love these haha! You can see Jonah feeling better and better in each photo. At first he is just laying there and by the end he's making silly faces : ) What a great way to keep everybody happy and help out the little sick guy! Love ya'll!
I feel you pain and I only have one child, wel two if you count Reid who is harder to get to take a picture than almost anyone ever!
